Shepherd Electric Supply is among the oldest independent wholesale/retail electrical supply houses in the Baltimore/Washington D.C. area. Ernest J. Fluharty and Henry A. Shepherd founded the company in 1892. Throughout the last 30 years, the company has shifted to the commercial construction market. Shepherd Electric has moved four times for expansion and currently has two locations. The company s portfolio of projects includes Alex Brown Building, The Bagby Building, The Baltimore Museum of Art, The Johns Hopkins University Cancer Center, Courtyard by Marriot, Custom House, The Marriot Hotel, Port Discovery, PSINet Stadium, Sylvan Learning Center, University fo Maryland Medical System and Oriole Park at Camden Yards Warehouse.
