• Dental Examination

• Oral Cancer Screening
  New patients with no insurance will receive a discounted price of $198 which include a full dental examination and X-rays. This exam includes all necessary x-rays, periodontal exam and oral cancer screening. This special does not include a dental cleaning.

Preventive

• Teeth Cleaning
  Fluoride is used as a final step in our teeth cleaning process. It is used to strengthen your enamel and helps prevent cavities. The main benefits of this treatment is to rebuild weakened tooth enamel, slow down the loss of minerals, helps reverse early signs of tooth decay and prevents the growth of harmful oral bacteria. It can be applied on the teeth as gel or foam forms, or as a mouth rise.
• Fluoride Treatment
  The American Dental Association suggests getting your teeth cleaned every 6 months to prevent tooth decay and gum disease. Before the cleaning processes, we start with a comprehensive exam of your entire mouth. Our experienced Hygienists gently remove any plaque and tarter from your teeth, provide expert level flossing, polish your teeth, and apply a fluoride treatment used as a protectant to help fight against cavities for several months.
• Dental Sealants
  Brushing is important in preventing cavities, but dental sealants may be the best way to prevent against them. Dental sealants are a thin coating that is painted on the teeth. The Centers for Disease Control reports that dental sealants prevent up to 80% of cavities for 2 years after application, and up to 50% of cavities for up to 4 years. Sealants can be especially effective for children who are still learning to brush properly and regularly.

  If a tooth, filling or crown becomes loose, broken, or completely falls out, give us a call right away as your chances of infection increases the longer you wait. Avoid eating sticky or hard food, food that requires a lot of chewing or cold drinks as the exposed tooth can have increased sensitivity. Try chewing with the other side of your mouth until we can get your tooth repaired.

• Root Canal Treatment
  A root canal is a procedure that cleans the infection or decay from your tooth’s pulp and root. Common symptoms that indicate you may need a root canal include: persistent pain, sensitivity to heat and cold, tooth discoloration, swollen gums, pain when you eat or touch the tooth, and loose teeth. If this infection or decay is left untreated, this can cause serious issues. Please give us a call as soon as you can.

  At Crisdental, we use the laser in conjunction with traditional scaling and root planning to help reduce the bacterial load, remove diseased tissue, and stimulate bone growth and reattachment. The laser also helps reduce bleeding, inflammation, and post-operative sensitivity. Laser-assisted periodontal therapy has vastly improved our post-operative results and we are happy to offer this state of the art technology to our patients.
