Tropico Middle School, a part of the Southern Kern Unified School District, offers classes in English, math, science, social studies and language arts. It provides a range of activities that includes art, music, band and chorus. The school s library maintains a collection of educational resources and reference materials. Tropico Middle School offers opportunities for participation in sports, such as soccer, football, basketball, hockey and volleyball. It organizes a range of extracurricular activities, including athletics, dances and field trips. The school also provides an accelerated reader program, as well as physical education lessons. In addition, Tropico Middle School has a parent-teacher organization that regularly organizes meeting and conferences.

This is by far the worse school by child as ever attended. The staff including the Principal and Vice Principal are rude and sarcastic. There is no open door policy to come in to talk or discuss a child or parents concerns. I find the whole Rosamond Kern Co School District to be secretly prejudice. This behavior will eventually be very detrimental to the city and the upcoming races that have to be exposed to their ignorance.
