Rome Middle School serves students in grades seven and eight and offers a wide variety of academic and extracurricular activities. Its academic curriculum includes various subjects, such as mathematics, English, social studies, science, reading, foreign languages, and physical and health education. The middle school provides various athletic activities, including football, baseball, basketball, cheerleading, wrestling, soccer, track, softball, cross country and tennis. It also offers a variety of student organizations and clubs, such as beta, German and chess clubs, academic competition, technology-related associations, band, chorus and the Future Farmers of America. Located in Rome, Ga., the middle school is approved by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools and is operated by Rome City Schools.
