Glenwood Primary School provides education to more than 530 students in pre-kindergarten through grade two. Its curriculum includes math, reading, art, music, physical education and language arts. The school offers counseling and media services, as well as special education classes for gifted and talented students. In addition, Glenwood Primary School operates a parent-teacher organization that conducts meetings and provides volunteer opportunities. The school administers the LunchBox program. It supplies a variety of items, such as pencils, markers, scissors, glue sticks and paper towels. Glenwood Primary School is a part of the Floyd County School System, which governs various elementary, middle and high schools.
