A favorite among the locals, per an unofficial survey I conducted after moving here. Local animal shelter isn't allowed to say who they recommend but I saw their people there with shelter animals and they had said they only use one vet so this must be the good one :) Also heard his name again & again for help with wildlife rehabbers. Very kind and knowlegable vet with pleasing staff and quite reasonable rates. (I'm from Chicago area originally so I've seen the highest midwest rates around and this vet isn't high-priced) He's pretty straight forward but if you ask a few questions, he is willing to stay and answer them and add more info if you're not in a hurry. Really comfortable talking with him, didn't feel he was arrogant in any way. Just real easy going manner. They are very prompt and offer advice and remedies over the phone if you have a problem (like when my dog got bit by a copperhead snake!) Have always gotten back to me with all answers I need. Highly recommend them!
