Established in 1964, Westside Elementary School offers a range of academic classes and extracurricular options to students in pre-kindergarten through grade five. Its syllabus includes mathematics, science, social studies, English, language arts and music. The school administers the English for Speakers of Other Languages program, as well as conducts classes in special education, reading recovery and alternative learning. It also operates a parent-teacher organization that conducts several fundraising events and programs. The school organizes a variety of events, including assemblies and book fairs. Located in Rogers, Ark., Westside Elementary School conducts field trips to several educational and cultural locations. In addition, the school is a part of Roger Public Schools, which governs various educational institutions.
