Birch Kirksey Middle School serves students in grades six and seven. The school s academic curriculum includes classes in language arts, mathematics, science and computers. It additionally offers programs in reading, social studies, and health and physical education. Birch Kirksey Middle School has an athletics department that offers a variety of sports activities, such as volleyball, basketball, and track and field. The school also offers the English for Speakers of Other Languages program. Its media center has a collection of books, journals, magazines and reference materials.
