Albahealth has been making disposable health care products since 1975. These products include deep-vein thrombosis prevention systems, such as anti-embolism stockings and wraps; dressings and dressing retainers, which hold wet or dry dressings on areas difficult to secure with tape; patient footwear; specialty patient care products, such as blankets and gloves; and stockinettes. Albahealth maintains its corporate headquarters in Valdese, N.C., and its main manufacturing and distribution center in Rockwood, Tenn. Albahealth is one of the four manufacturing subsidiaries of Encompass Medical. The other three are Avcor, The Pillow Factory and TechStyles.
