i.e., A local favorite, or highly recommended becauseFinally someone who gets it and does it right. This is the best Mexican food I have had since I have moved to New England from California back in May of 77 . Blue Sky Cantina is great. It is real Mexican food, not the fake corporate heat and serve, or we ll make something up and call it Mexican style food. This is not Tex-Mex, Caribbean-Mex or Central American-Mex, it is get in your face authentic Mexico/Baja-Mex. Fresh homemade fresh ingredients great Mexican food. You have many choices of meat to choose from, or vegetarian if you want. The portions are a good size, so you can bring some home if it s too much. The salsa is fresh made as is the guacamole which us made to order. If you like pork, try the Carnitas, it is made correctly. It is not pot roast pulled seasoned and put on your plate. It is cut correctly, season then cook right, crispy on the outside and moist and tender on the inside. My wife had vegetable burrito and said it was the best she has had since moving here from Colorado. Do yourself a favor and go visit Ron the owner who will present you with the best authentic Mexican food. Who would have thunk, the best Mexican Food in New England ( this includes New York City) is here in Rockport ME.

Don't believe the map that comes with this website. Blue Sky Cantina is on Route 1 near the Camden/Rockport town line.
Great Mexican food served with originality and fantastic presentation. At last, they have re-opened for lunch! Today, we enjoyed a Caesar Salad and cheese enchilada, with rice and beans. The salad was perfect with a dressing that was unusually delicious. Too often, the dressing one gets on such a salad in a restaurant is something that came in bottled off the Sysco truck. Not so, here. I couldn't place all ingredients, but the mixture was the best I've ever tasted. Some special tortilla chips of flour, with an original sauce cooked in were unlike any I'd come across before. The cheese enchilada, with rice and beans was a classic execution of a traditional favorite. The plate was dressed with a shredded lettuce and tomato mix that passes for a salad. It added a lovely contrast in textures to my personal fave Mexican dish. Great service, amazing food served in beautiful surroundings, at reasonable prices, make Blue Sky Cantina a special destination.
