Seminole County Public Schools is a school district that operates through food services, human resources, risk management and transportation departments. It has an information services department that is responsible for application and web development, media production and project management. Seminole County Public Schools has an office of school safety and student alternative placement that provides alternative programs and interventions for students who experience truancy and misconduct problems, family dysfunctions, and social and emotional difficulties. The district also facilitates and manages operational functions to provide support for students to succeed academically. The Seminole County Public Schools offers classes in classes in math, world education, social studies, science, and health and physical education. It is headquartered in Sanford, Fla., and operates several schools in Winter Springs, Fla.
