Dr. Michael J. Manley is a board certified in Gastroenterology and joined Rockford Gastroenterology Associates, Ltd. in 2001. He completed medical school at the University of Wisconsin in Madison, and completed his residency in Internal Medicine and a fellowship in Gastroenterology at Loyola University Medical Center in Maywood, Illinois. Dr. Manley serves as the Director of the RGA Practice Committee which is responsible for reviewing and updating diagnosis and treatment guidelines to help patients receive the most up to date care. Dr. Manley is Clinical Assistant Professor of Medicine at the University of Illinois College of Medicine and a member of the American Gastroenterological Association, the American College of Gastroenterology, and is a fellow of the American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy. Dr. Manley is trained in the broad discipline of gastroenterology and hepatology and has special interests in the treatment of inflammatory bowel disease and colorectal cancer screening and prevention.
