Abbott Plastics, established in 1980, is a full-line plastics distributor and machine house. The company s ISO 9001:2000 and AS 9100B:2004 certified facility offers a wide variety of services, including precision machining, plastic fabrication, precision cutting, die-cutting, plastic distribution and quality assurance. It has the capability to produce complex, precision-machined parts from engineered plastics, on close tolerance equipment. The firm offers in-house CNC routering, turning, milling, sawing, die cutting and fabrication. It also provides off-line programming, using customer supplied CAD files, reverse engineering using CAD software, complete order tracking using shop management software, and an inventory of plastic sheets, rods, tubes and films in a variety of materials. The firm is a member of the International Association of Plastic Distributors and the International Plastics Fabricators Association. Abbott Plastics has headquarters in Rockford, Ill.
