Founded in 1883, the Modern Woodmen of America is a fraternal benefit society and serves more than 750,000 members throughout the United States. It offers a range of life insurance, annuity, investment and banking products, as well as fraternal member benefits for families and communities. The society also provides individual retirement and college savings plans. The Modern Woodmen of America offers brokerage services to assist with the buying and selling of security products, such as stocks, mutual funds, corporate and municipal bonds, treasury securities and unit investment trusts. The society operates MWA Financial Services, which is a full-service broker dealer and distributes securities products. Modern Woodmen of America s other subsidiary, MWABank, provides a range of personal banking products and services.
