continued since I got cut off...I guess I called too close to 5 p.m. because she didn't call back. I waited till 11:30 the next morning but no call so I called again. She took my call and said she got the message. No reason or apology for not returning the call. She took my complaint and said she would look into it. 2 hours later she calls to tell me that she didn't understand the reason they gave her. Her exact words were, "I don't understand how the billing works for the monthly payment plan". I patiently asked her how she could sell a policy with a payment plan and not actually understand it. Dead silence. I asked if she was still there and she said yes. Still no answer, still no apology. Unbelievable....oh and if your allergic to dogs or afraid of big dogs, DO NOT GO THERE ON FRIDAYS. One of the staff brings her large poodle to the office and stands there drooling the floor and growling every time someone comes through the door...

This is a review for the agency and not for State Farm itself. On the day I went there to buy my new policies with them I was thrilled (auto and renters). Much cheaper rates with better coverage and lower deductibles. She spent quite a bit of time with me and made me feel welcome and valued. I didn't feel rushed or pressured and was even told that one of their programs for even lower rates was a pain in the neck and added the expense of buying the unit that monitors driving habits. Apparently, once they sell you the policy they forget about you and returning phone calls about issues isn't a priority for them. I paid a deposit of $228, signed up for the monthly billing program and was told my next payment would be due at the end of July. Imagine how angry I was when I got the first bill on the same day my policies arrived and it was due for June 28! I had just bought the policy on May 31! I took a deep breath and called the agent. I left my number and was told she would return my call.
