im brittany kennedy i was placed in newhope wen i was 14 and got out when i was 16 when i first got there i did not want to be there i was so scared i did not get along with the staff or my peers the first day i got there i got put into a restraint i threw my shoes at staff cussed out my peers threatend the staff i was failing in school i was always my level droped for disrespecting staff every day that i was there i got use to it more and more finally i acepted that i was going to be there even though i didnt want to be there i was on the safwe habor floor when i got use to it more and more i started doing better i stoped geting in restaints i stoped get my level droped i stoped threating the staff i started geting along with my ppeers i started doing better in school i finally started talking to my threapis about my feelings this is a thank you to all the staff that worked with me why i was in newhope Alica lightfoot MS muary MS willimas MS filder MS noorwood and all the other staff
