      General Info

      After teaching my own two teenagers how to drive, I decided to help others in their quest for a driver's license. I attended Erskine College's course for driving Instructors in 2012. To date, I have taught over 400 students, from teens to eighty-somethings, how to drive. My mission is to help every one of my students get the knowledge and skills necessary to drive safely. I have also been certified as a Third Party Tester, meaning that you can take the road skills test in the same vehicle you trained in, with the same friendly driving instructor, without the long lines of the DMV.

      We had a great experience with Alert Driver Training.
      My son had already had quite a bit of road time but needed work on parallel parking etc. He also needed the 8 hour class. My son found the 8 hour class interesting and very informative. Included were two 3 hr driving lessons in which he was able to gain the skills needed to master parallel parking and K turning.
      The owner/instructor, Alan, did everything he promised he would do. He came recommended to me and I highly recommend Alan and his driving school.
      My son took his road test earlier this week and pass the first time. I will definitely use him again when my daughter is ready to learn to drive.

      Great class! Interesting videos and great instructor that really helped me ace my test! I highly suggest the behind the wheel one on one sessions because it made me less nervous for the road test
