Worst haircut of my life! I explained to the hairdresser what I wanted and even showed pictures. We agreed that a 1" trim and long layers would give me the look I wanted. I left the salon with my hair wavy which is what I wanted. However, once I washed my hair and straightened it it was totally uneven! A total hack job! I had to have another hair dresser fix it! It took the new hairdresser an hour and a half to even everything out and I was left with much shorter layers than I wanted as a result. I've left two messages asking for a refund and have yet to get a call back!

LOVE this place! Always come here for my highlights. Everyone is very friendly, and I got a manicure during my highlight.

RUDE!!! Stuck up cashiers...had to ASK for a bag for my products (....was given one begrudgingly). These arrogant overly-done check out girls need to spend less time putting on their face paint & their talon-like acrylic nails & spend some time taking CUSTOMER SERVICE LESSONS!!!! I recommend this pompous salon only IF you like being treated like dirt.

I've been to this spa several times now and it's wonderful! The staff is wonderful and courteous. The atmosphere is tranquil and beautiful. And the treatments have you leaving feeling the best you have in months. I've gotten a facial, brazillian wax, and body treatment and will go back for more!

This is a great place to buy from around the world at reasonable prices. Everything is given back to that country that made the item. You will find very unusual items that you could never find that was made in a factory.

I was pleasantly surprised by the spa. Since Shear Ego is in a strip mall (albeit Rochester's nicest)I had low expectations. But when I went there for my facial, I was delighted by the decor (a fireplace and classical music in the waiting area) and the professionalism of my facialist. The price for a facial is also one of the lower ones in Rochester. I would definitely recommend this!
