The Monroe County Legal Assistance Center specializes in providing free civil legal services to its clients. It is a division of LawNY, which is a nonprofit law firm that provides free legal aid to people in more than 10 counties in New York. The Monroe County Legal Assistance Center offers legal representation and advice in the areas of evictions and subsidized and fair housing issues. It also handles matters associated with domestic violence, property foreclosures, business transactions and debt settlement. In addition, the firm provides assistance to senior citizens in various legal matters. The Monroe County Legal Assistance Center is located in Rochester, N.Y.
