Dr. Freddie Thomas High School serves students in grades 7 through 12. Its educational programs include instruction in science, mathematics, English and social studies. The school also offers advanced placement courses in the areas of broadcasting, manufacturing, education, health care, public safety, engineering, public relation and food service. Dr. Freddie Thomas High School additionally provides foreign language classes and opportunities for students to participate in the National Honor Society programs. Its athletic programs include soccer, volleyball, tennis, baseball, softball, swimming, wrestling, bowling and basketball. The school operates a band, choir, and book and performing arts clubs. Dr. Freddie Thomas High School features a library that provides reading and research materials. The school is a part of the Rochester City School District.
