Ours wasn't an easy situation: On short notice, we drove from New York City to Rochester to see to the affairs of my brother-in-law following a phone call to inform us that he was found dead in his home. After some research and recommendations, we learned that Alltrue was reliable and their fees were reasonable, so we went with them. Ed, the funeral director, was able to quickly arrange my brother-in-law's cremation, during which he was understanding, knowledgeable and handled our shock and questions with sympathy and sensitivity. He never pressured us to do anything that we didn't want, or recommend over-priced options, and made the process much easier than it might otherwise have been. His pleasant manner helped to relax and assure us. Since that initial meeting, I've had to contact Ed for follow up, and his assistance with death certificates. He always remembers my name and is helpful, never impatient. This personal touch goes far in this sometimes-impersonal world that we live in.
