I was experiencing random pains in my back and for more that 3 years was unable to swing a golf club. For the first time in my life I elected to seek out a chiropractor for help. Fortunately I attended a presentation given by Dr. Pratt of the Thrive Wellness Center and signed up for an assessment visit to determine what is likely causing my issues and whether or not the chiropractor could be of help. This visit also addressed what medicare would cover and what my medicare gap insurance covered. I was pleasantly surprised at the coverage I was eligible for, as well as what my co-pay would be. So, I signed up for a 12 week 3 times per week program. Each visit included a mixture of both massage therapies, exercise routines and muscle stretching routines concluding with a chiropractic adjustment.X-rays of my spine (before and as the treatment progressed) showed that I was achieving the needed spinal correction. Currently I'm on a maintenance type program calling for a visit once every two weeks AND I feel great, pain free and am able to golf again.Dr. Pratt's whole team needs to be commended for their professionalism, desire to truly help you fix your issues and their encouragement. It actually feels like a family environment while you are there. Others I have spoken to, and who have been to other chiropractors, claim this practice offers so much more. Sure makes me feel good about my decision.As an aside. Dr. Pratt and his team offered to share with us a 6 week weight loss program that he himself was using. It included daily menus of commonly found food items. We were even taken to grocery store where Dr. Pratt showed us the best items to buy for healthy weight loss. There wasn't a charge for this service. A testimonial that demonstrated to me the unselfishness of Dr. Pratt. He was genuinely more interested in helping us get better than charging a fee. I'm not sure that he will do this again but he sure was generous of his own personal time. I lost nine pounds and since the six weeks ended I've lost a couple of more pounds.Dr Pratt and his team really deserve the 5 star rating.
