The Linda Horihan Agency, a division of Linda Horihan Inc, is a full service insurance agency serving southeast Minnesota and northern Iowa. The agency specializes in farms, small businesses, health insurance, auto, and homeowner's policies. Its founder, Linda Horihan, started in the insurance business in 1988 with Farm Bureau in Preston, MN. A number of years later, Linda decided to become an Independent Agent and launched a business of her own in Rushford, MN. Linda grew the corporation from a staff of one to 4 full time agents today. Her dedication to prompt, professional customer service earned her a top place in the local insurance arena. Sadly, Linda passed away in January of 2005 when she lost her battle with breast cancer. Linda's son Creighton Horihan joined the firm in the spring of 2002. He continues to serve the clients that Linda served and also is focused on growing the business. Creighton has extensive background in the agricultural industry, being a farmer in rural Lanesboro, MN. In the spring of 2006, the Linda Horihan Agency opened its first branch office in Rochester, MN. Shane Steinbeck was hired to manage this branch. All lines of business will be written out of both offices.
