Walked in with a wrapped package. Asked if I could put it in one of their boxes for shipment (which they have out front for free) and the clerk says "I can just do that for you back here" So I fill out the forms and the price comes to $67 for an under one pound overnight delivery. So I need to check the cost with my client and I take the package and the clerk tells me I need to pay $4.67 because he packed it. Ripoff for a free box and literally two pieces of brown paper.

I've always had friendly, pleasant service at this Fedex Kinko's. Fedex is good for heavy, large items (ie guitars, amps, power tools, etc.). However, you will get totally fleeced on small or lighter items. Take those to the post office and ship parcel post. FedEx charged me $13 to ship a 3lb. $8 item two states away. Meanwhile a 50lb. $450 guitar amp only cost $25 to ship (fully insured) halfway across the country.
