Rochester High School, also known as RHS, enrolls more than 1,500 students in grades 9 through 12. Its academic curriculum includes math, English, physical education, science and social studies. The school also offers special education programs for gifted and talented students. Rochester High School organizes various sports activities, such as baseball, softball, soccer and tennis. In addition, it maintains a library and media center, as well as operates art, chess, French, key and lifting clubs. The school provides membership opportunities in the National Honor Society. Rochester High School also features a gymnasium, auditorium and photography laboratory. It has a staff of over 120 employees and offers the English as a Second Language program. The school additionally maintains a parent-teacher-student association. Rochester High School is a part of Rochester Community Schools.
