Established in 1921, Oakland Family Services is a private, nonprofit, human services organization. The organization provides treatment, education and prevention services to children, adults and families throughout southeastern Michigan. It offers behavioral health services that support a variety of programs, including alcohol and drug abuse treatment and prevention, as well as family trauma and violence counseling. In addition, it offers substance abuse anticipation programs for high-risk children and adolescents. Oakland Family Services provides geriatric, employee assistance, and comprehensive child and parent support services. The organization offers a variety of services to improve relationships between parents and children. It maintains an office in Rochester Hills, Mich.
