Worst experience ever. I needed to move a small 2 bedroom house to an apartment. The move was about 15 miles. I have an expensive piano and I asked them if they were experienced in moving pianos. I told them the piano was the most important item and needed to be treated with extra care. They said no problem. They only used one strap in the truck and when they took a turn the piano broke through the straps and landed on my studio desk obliterating it. The piano suffered extensive damage including a cracked sound board (devaluing it in the worst way). They fall also smashed a huge mirror that was attached to bedroom furniture. 

They told me we were only going 15 miles so I didn't need to get the expensive insurance and to just sign off on the cheaper insurance. 

I didn't flip out on the movers.. I truly don't believe that they wanted that to happen.. in fact I tipped the 3 of them.. 20%. All I asked them was to make sure they reported this and helped get my piano fixed.

Crew arrived on time and worked really hard for 8.5 hours. Liked that the crew was on their best behavior around my young guys (no swearing etc). Considerate of neighbors, too.

All in all it was a great experience. I have to admit that never having hired movers before I was a little skeptical/nervous but they were great guys who worked fast, efficiently and not a thing was even scratched. They made a difficult move up a 3 storey walkup (some pieces needed to be lowered from the roof) seem like a walk in the park. They disassembled and assembled everything 10x faster than I would have and did it all with a pleasant demeanour. I would use them again in a second.

We hired Certified Relocations for a recent move. From the estimate to the completed move they were professional, helpful and easy to work with. We would definitely hire this company again!

They were on time, polite, accommodating, and patient with us and our noisy parrot. All furniture was wrapped, which was a first for us! The final bill came in slightly under the estimate; there was no "padding". I would definitely recommend this company.

I found these guys on Homestars, and thought they were outstanding. This was my 4th move in Newark and they were by far the most professional and well organized movers I've had. They bring tons of padding (more than any other mover) and provided 4 wardrobe boxes free of charge (which were extremely practical). They were great. My next move will definitely be with these guys.

Certified Relocations was probably the best move I've ever had. They showed up early, got the direction needed from me and got to it. They were machines taking boxes two at a time down two long flights of stairs from the third floor. At the destination same energy to finish up. Not to mention an hour early!

They were knowledgeable, helpful and very courteous. The crew offered Great service - prompt arrival, very polite, hard workers and also courteous.

The men from Certified Relocations were fantastic. They were courteous and helpful, and very understanding about my lack of preparedness, and happily moved boxes as I filled them. It was a very snowy day, and despite the bad weather they cheerfully set to work. No item was unreasonable, including two heavy stones from my garden. These guys were so professional and fun. They made a stressful event much easier! I would highly recommend them to anyone.

Certified Relocations were outstanding. They were the first movers we've ever hired and we will never use another company. After hearing all the regular horror stories about moving companies we really did our research. Not only were Certified Relocations the most affordable company but they came highly recommended by a close friend who had just used them a month prior. I moved at the end of September in to my new home. They came from Certified Relocation and they did an amazing job! The boys were efficient, professional and made the day a positive experience,( not to mention they were easy on the eyes.) Certified Relocation was great at providing an accurate quote and outlining the process of what would happen that day.
