Founded in 1934, Greenvale School is a nonprofit child care center in southwestern Virginia. It offers educational programs for children up to the age of 12. The school has partnerships with the United Way of Roanoke Valley, The Roanoke Valley Speech and Hearing Center, and City of Roanoke in Virginia. Greenvale School offers a variety of activities, such as swimming and arts and crafts. It conducts field trips to local museums and libraries. The school offers several before- and after-school programs. It provides classes in science, housekeeping, mathematics and art. The school offers transportation and development screening services. Its infant and toddler classrooms feature toys, colored mats and mirrors. Greenvale School operates the Get Well Center, which offers day care services for sick children.
