The Achievement Center, founded in 1975, is a private day school for children, grades K-9, with specific learning disabilities and attention deficit disorder. The school accepts children ages five to 14 years into the programs and follows a multi-sensory approach to learning. The institute provides one teacher for every five students in a classroom. The Achievement Center is located in Roanoke, Va.
