Benjamin Cable, M.D. serves as Chief of Otolaryngology at Carilion Clinic and a professor of surgery at the Virginia Tech Carilion School of Medicine. Over the last decade, he has served as an invited speaker or surgical instructor across the United States and in eight countries around the globe. For close to two decades, he has been teaching ENT surgical residents. Dr. Cable recently completed 25 years of military service. During this time, he was chosen as the consultant to the surgeon general for otolaryngology and had the opportunity to serve in Afghanistan as the Chief of Clinical Operations within the NATO International Joint Command. Dr. Cable has completed sub-specialty fellowship training in pediatric ENT surgery but still enjoys the privilege of seeing patients of all ages. Along with his team of talented care providers, he is committed to providing excellence in care for all patients in our community and across the region.
