Decent company that recommended a brand new AC that broke in a little over 4 years. There is a lifetime warranty if you remember to contact them every 6 months. The reminder for this that is provided by them, is an automated call to you that is the type of call most people screen and do not answer. if you fail to contact them for a fairly expensive checkup, within 6 months, the company will void your warranty and hide behind phone records indicating they called you with the auto call at the 6 month mark. Decent company, but customer service skills surrounding the warranty leaves much to be desired, and could leave you to paying for entire repairs.

2am emergency service call. The technician, Andrew, arrived at our door within an hour, fixed it within an hour and didn't even charge us a service call just the amount to fix it! I called several other companies the following day to price match and found that this company was actually LESS than what others would have charged. And all at 2 in the morning. We are hooked and I am telling everyone I know about this company and their work ethics. Thank you, Andrew.

Called for a ballpark figure to replace my old AC unit (over 25years old). Tech came out and we were talking about what options I have and cost. After talking to this Tech come to find out he only got out of prison a year or so ago. Thank You A Better Deal for sending a convicted felon to my home. I guess they dont believe in background checks. I dont know what type of people they hire but what if my wife called in. I dont feel comfortable with ex-cons running around my home. I would never do business with a company that would send an ex-con into my home.

Ignore that last review, this guy must be one of those people that expects everyone to please them!I have been a happy customer of these folks for the past 2 years. Andrew even came to our house at 8pm one night to ensure we had proper heat in our home for our 2 children. You don't see many companies caring for their customers as this one does. Make them your first choice. Call the other companies at your own risk, I trust these folks; they just do great work!

Highly recommend for service or installation of new system.

I was collecting bids to replace my three year old central conditioning system, which had recently been worked on by a friend. Everyone gave me a bid and left except A Better Deal. Andrew said, "Let's find the problem first". The A/C was working fine, but my amateur friend had miswired the system so that the heat was always on when the A/C was on. He changed the wires, and the system has been working ever since. I will never call anyone else.

This is a great company. We have used them for over four years, and they always come right away, even late at night or weekends. They have always taken great care of us!
