When I visited Indiana I stoped by Josephs and they had very delicious food. No complaints at all.

The perfect place for a celebration. The best food around and the service is incredible. Couldn't be better. Though the price is more than some places, it is not outrageous. Its like eating in a big city in a beautiful small town. Check out the website. It's great.
I had heard such wonderful things about Joseph Dequis from several sources in Fort Wayne IN so I decided to try out what is reputed to be one of the finest restaurants in the area. We went to one of their theme lunches, one that featured foods and wines from Chili. The food and wine pairings were a mystery...white wine was served with the beef dish and the red wine served with the seafood course. My food was mediocre at best... empenadas were actually served burned in the bottom. The service was very amateur at best.....the 2nd glass of white wine was served at room temperature and every questions I had about the food, the wine and the service was left for someone in the back to answer ....am still waiting. So in inspite of their stellar reputation this visit didn't even come close to meeting my expectations.
My wife and I dined here for our 10th anniversary. It was memorable and the food was excellent. The wine list is the most extensive in Northeast Indiana for sure. They even gave us our very own personalized menus to commemorate the occasion. The food is great and they constantly refresh their menu so each time you come is a whole new culinary experience. JD's is a treasure and Northeast Indiana is lucky to have such a jewel in its midst.
What can I say? This is one of the finest restaurants in northern Indiana.Fortunately for me, I live near Roanoke and have had the pleasure of dining at Joseph Decuis numerous times for lunch and dinner. Without question, JD's has some of the finest food, best atmosphere and stellar service of any restaurant in the area. It easily rivals the finest restaurants in Chicago and Indianapolis. The menu changes weekly and always has fresh and inventive selections. They have a huge wine selection as well as full bar service. There are three dining rooms, but I prefer the Club Room where the bar is located.Don't wait for a special occasion to go to Joseph Decuis. Treat yourself to a lovely dining experience anytime. You won't regret it.
WOW. Incredible food, so fresh and innovative. Service was impeccable. The chef came to our table to discuss our dinner options ~ so cool. We are really impressed! Gorgeous atmosphere, three different dining rooms to choose from, and another if you go in the summer. Not pricey, similar to any other high end restaurant in Fort Wayne. We were surprised about that actually. Awesome, an absolute must go. Don't wait for a special occasion! WOW!
If you can stomach the outlandish prices and small portions, you'll enjoy the ambiance. Beautiful facility with very average food. Great wine list, but pricy. Snapper was bland, soup was fantastic. Service was uber-professional (no small talk) and very prompt. Great place to enjoy a martini before you go to another restaurant in Fort Wayne to eat.
Flavors and presentation is world class. Unique atmosphere with very different dining rooms to choose from.Loved the Seafood Gumbo... better than New Orleans. Scallops better than the east coast. And I suspect that Colorado sends their best lamb to Joseph Decuis, 'cause I lived in Denver for 12 years... and never had better.
