  Charmaine graduated from the University of California, Riverside with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and Law & Society. Thereafter, she attended law school at California Western School of Law in San Diego. Charmaine began her legal experience in criminal law as a certified legal intern with the San Diego Public Defender, Juvenile Division, followed by a temporary internship and opportunity in civil litigation with her then future employer, Thompson & Colegate that ended in the spring of 2003.

  Trevor D. DeBus joined Thompson & Colegate in 2015. His current areas of practice include general insurance defense, personal injury, wrongful death, products liability, construction, bankruptcy, and complex law and motion.
• Juvenile Crimes
  She graduated from Riverside Community College with Great Distinction in 1984 and became a paralegal in 1985. In 1996, as a single Mom of three, she joined Thompson & Colegate as a full time litigation paralegal and pursued upper division course work in the evenings for a Bachelor's Degree in Social Work at La Sierra University. Susan then attended the University of La Verne College of Law where she earned the Cali Awards for Torts and for Case Analysis and Legal Writing. She served as Senior Staff Writer and as Staff Editor for the Editorial Board of ULV's Journal of Juvenile Law, as well. During and following law school, Susan was a member of the Advisory Committee for the undergraduate Legal Studies Program at the University of La Verne. In that capacity, she participated in the University's successful efforts to acquire ABA approval for its Paralegal Program.

  Mr. Stevens obtained a Bachelor of Political Science degree from California State University at San Diego. He went on to complete his Juris Doctorate at Western State School of Law in 1992. Mr. Stevens has represented clients in the areas of Construction Defect defense on behalf of Developers, General Contractors and Owners, in Real Estate disputes on behalf of Realtors, Tort and Premise Liability, as well corporate clients in both jury and bench trials.

  Trevor graduated from the University of California, Riverside with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science. Trevor attended Western State University College of Law in Fullerton, California while working full time as a law clerk for an established Riverside civil defense firm. Once admitted to practice, Trevor was welcomed as an attorney at the same firm, where he primarily specialized in general insurance defense, personal injury, premises liability, and public agency representation.

  Stacy has more than 25 years of experience in the representation of physicians, healthcare providers, hospitals, medical groups, skilled nursing facilities and residential care facilities (RCFEs). She also has a vast amount of experience in the representation of public entities, including healthcare districts, County hospitals and school districts, healthcare providers and a host of other types of entities and individuals districts. The majority of her career is focused on medical malpractice defense and insurance defense of healthcare providers and a host of other types of entities and individuals. She has gained experience in civil trials and binding arbitrations. Over the span of her career, Stacy gained experience representing physicians and nurses as well as other healthcare providers in administrative matters before the Medical Board of California, Nursing Board of California and other governing agencies and administrative bodies.

  C L Farrell is a Southern California native. She joined Thompson & Colegate in 2022. Upon completing five years of civil law practice for an AV-rated San Bernardino law firm, she established her Inland Empire law practice in 1993, focusing on estate planning, trust and probate administration and litigation, judgment enforcement, contracts and real property matters for individuals, families and small businesses. She has most recently joined the Riverside County Bar Association Dispute Resolution Services as a mediator of probate and trust disputes. She has served as past Chair and an Arbitrator of the San Bernardino County Bar Association’s Fee Arbitration Program. She has served as Judge Pro Tem for the San Bernardino County Superior Court in Family Law and Small Claims Court. She has mediated civil law disputes for the San Bernardino County Superior Court.

  Craig M. Marshall joined Thompson and Colegate LLP as a partner in 2014. Craig's practice involves estate planning, probate and trust administration, conservatorships, and litigation matters for individuals and families. He advises and assists clients in their personal estate plans with an emphasis on business succession planning for owners of family businesses. Additionally, Craig's practice includes general counsel work for privately owned businesses. He has provided counsel and transactional legal representation to various types of businesses from start-ups to well established going concerns. Further, Craig has represented numerous physicians, medical groups, independent physician associations, and hospitals in the negotiation and drafting of various types of provider agreements and other healthcare arrangements.
• Power of Attorney
  Thompson & Colegate provides a full range of estate planning services including federal estate, gift and income tax counseling; Elder Law counseling and Medi-Cal planning. This includes the drafting of wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and other estate planning documents. The firm also works with clients in connection with probate and trust administration, and probate matters. Our attorneys also capably handle litigation related to these areas. Elder law and Medi-Cal planning are also emphasized.

  Laura Zamora graduated from the University of California, Davis with a Bachelor of Arts degree in History. Laura went on to attend the University of La Verne College of Law, where she received CALI awards for the highest grade in multiple courses while working as a law clerk for a solo practitioner in San Bernardino and acting as a board member of multiple organizations, such as the Federalist Society and the ADR Association. Laura remained at the same firm as an attorney once she was admitted to practice in June 2013. She has primarily specialized in probate matters, including probate administration, estate planning, probate litigation, and trust litigation. Laura also acts as a volunteer arbitrator for the San Bernardino County Bar Association Fee Arbitration Program. In 2016, Laura joined Thompson & Colegate, where she continues to focus her practice in probate law.
