Riverside Public Works is one of the city departments of California. Located in Riverside, Calif., the public works department provides a wide variety of services for civil and traffic engineering, sewers, streets, solid waste, fleet, storm drains and recycling. Open Monday through Friday, the department s building services division provides maintenance and repair services for city-owned buildings, and provides technical support and assistance to departments in facility construction. It also provides printing services, and administers contracts for janitorial service, elevator service, and pest control. Its engineering division offers various services, including surveying, geoprocessing updates, project inspections, drafting, and building permit reviews. Additionally, the department provides general engineering information to citizens and other city departments.
