- Pediatric CareMission Pediatrics has its own Hawaii-Themed office in a quiet office district off Hospitality in San Bernardino. Themed after Haleakala National Park, this facility in the Mission Pediatrics collection creates a truly delightfully different experience for our patients. In a newly refurbished building with parking right out front, our delightful Sun and Surf motif expands throughout the facility.
- Emergency CareJulie is a board-certified family nurse practitioner with Mission Pediatrics, Inc. She received her Masters Degree and Family Nurse Practitioner training from Azusa Pacific University in 2018. She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Emory University. Julie has worked in psychiatry, critical care, the emergency department and now pediatrics. Receiving her externship training at Mission Pediatrics, we knew immediately that she embodied the spirit of quality and compassion that makes Mission Pediatrics so uniquely different. She is an Atlanta native and has enjoyed living in sunny California for the last several years. By the way, our silliness team will sometimes insert something irrelevant into this bio just to keep you guessing...did you know that Shaggy from Scooby Doo has a real name? Norville Rogers...Anywho, back to Julie...Julie developed her love for pediatric patients while working in the pediatric emergency department. In her free-time Julie enjoys doing just about anything outdoors. She is very artistic and played a pivotal role in setting up the décor in the Redlands Victorian office and painting the mural in our San Bernardino Haleakalā Office in addition to serving as an actor in many of our film productions. As a child Julie loved playing pretend games (she was all about Barbies) and watching Disney princess movies over and over again (definitely not annoying to everyone around her). Julie strives to create a positive patient and family-centered experience with a focus on wellness, prevention and encouraging the development of healthy behaviors. Julie is interested in languages and can speak Gibberish almost fluently. She is one of our telemedicine gurus and works primarily remotely. Julie is married and has one son and 2 fur-babies named Zoe and Scooby (...Norville?). RuhRoh.

- ImmunizationsMission Pediatrics has always been all about quality care. After reviewing the recommendations of the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP), the World Health Organization (WHO) and the American College of Immunization Practices (ACIP), we have determined that vaccines are both necessary and mandatory to save lives and protect children, and they do not cause autism. Even before the pandemic, we have seen that we have the responsibility to address the growing problem of unvaccinated children. Our physicians believe that vaccination benefits outweigh the risks. We firmly believe that internet “research” does not replace a physician’s medical degree, and we hope you can respect that. We are committed to provide factual and honest information to our patients.
- NeurologyDr. Arca attended the University of Hawaii for an undergraduate degree in Biology, he received his medical degree from Rush University in 2016. He did a pediatric internship and child neurology residency at Loma Linda University in 2021 and completed an epilepsy fellowship at Stanford University in 2022. He was born and raised in Hawaii and loves everything that deals with the ocean (except getting salt water on a papercut or sand in your shorts). Fun fact, peeing on jellyfish stings doesn’t work, and if the jellyfish arms with nematocysts are exposed to water or urine (which is mostly water), it may cause them to activate and the venom will be even worse. Medicine and research have always been an interest to Chris since he was a wee lad. After being bored out of his skull doing bench research during his undergraduate years, he made the decision to transition to something much more exciting and way more fun, medicine. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his wife and two young, active children, trying to grow various plants, learning new dad jokes, and doing various dad things around the house. Fun fact from Dr. Arca “I spearfish, trail run, write Yelp reviews, and was able to hold my breath for 3+ minutes. I love the patients and staff that I meet at Mission Pediatrics!”
- AutismMy son has been coming here for about 4 years now, I can honestly say I love this place for him, my son has autism and ADHA. Dr. Watson helped me and sent him to all the right places with referrals. They don’t take to long to get it done. There’s a other Dr. Agas which is always friendly and shows concern when my son goes in as well. The both Drs. Have been very helpful with this journey I’ve been on with my son. Trying to get him the help I can. This office has helped me so much. I really do recommend this office to all. Yes, the wait might be long at times but always worth it, they get the stuff done and taken care of. Staff is always friendly and ready to work. Two thumbs up.

- RadiologyDr. Agas is Assistant Medical Director at Mission Pediatrics, Inc. where he has been since 2010. He is a board-certified pediatrician and fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. He is frequently referred to as the “Baby Whisperer.” He has been known to sing and dance with babies to sooth them. Dr. Agas says, “I enjoy taking care of kids, especially during the first year. I am usually very playful with kids. I want to make sure children are comfortable with me before I examine them.” Dr. Agas grew up in the Philippines under the care of his loving grandparents. By the way, our silliness team will sometimes insert something irrelevant into this bio just to keep you guessing...did you know The word “PEZ” comes from the German word for peppermint – PfeffErminZ? Back to Dr. Agas...his childhood taught him a great appreciation for the struggle to survive and obtain an education during difficult times. He looks back to his challenging life experiences as a child, and he finds that they give him great empathy for the under-served patients in our community. His compassion and kindness truly embody the delightfully different experience that Mission Pediatrics creates. He graduated from college with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Medical Technology and completed his medical school at FEU-NRMF School of Medicine in the Philippines. He started with a postdoctoral training in Radiology for three years at Philippine Heart Center and shifted to Pediatrics at Mount Sinai School of Medicine at Elmhurst Hospital Center in New York. He is married with one daughter. As a family they enjoy binge-watching Korean TV shows, swimming and traveling. He rotates between our Riverside and Perris locations and is accepting new patients.
