Operational for more than 15 years, the Riverside County Information Technology, also known as RCIT, offers a range of data communication services to over 35 county departments and agencies. It provides and supports radio services to the sheriff's department and other law enforcement agencies. The bureau offers telephone services maintains nearly 22,000 telephone units. The Riverside County Information Technology s clients include cities, districts and offices, as well as commissions, committees and boards. The bureau manages a staff of approximately 200 information technology professionals who have expertise in network solutions and web services.
