Jefferson Elementary School, founded in 1948, offers education to more than 1,100 students in grades kindergarten through six. Its curriculum includes subjects, such as science, English, mathematics, social studies, foreign languages, and language and fine arts. The school s subjects also include world history and social science. It also provides training classes in writing, reading and calculating. The school offers a wide variety of facilities that include a library, cafeteria, multipurpose room and computer lab. The services provided by the school include conflict management and career counseling.
