If i could i would leave no stars I WOULD!!! I purchased food via the drive thru on mothers day about 10:05 (according to my receipt) 3 soft chicken tacos, reg nachos, a combination burrito and two reg tacos. as i was pulling out i reached for my food to snack on my tortilla chips, and to once my hand entered that bag i smelled human feces. it left my hand smelling like it as well. so i call the place back and asked for a refund and drove back. Because their wasn't a general manager on site i was not given a refund and was told to inconvenience myself again as if this incident wasn't an inconvenience in its self and return when a manager is on duty. i called today 5/15/17 at 10:00 this morning and asked very kindly to speak to the manager. as i was telling him what happen Mr Travis Richardson would not stop talking over me asking me where the bag of food was and started raising his voice and slowing starting to yell at me. i interrupted him and asked him if he is seriously arguing and yelling at a customer. he continued to yell and i put him on speaker so my coworkers can hear him and made him aware that i put him on speaker and have witnesses that prove he is yelling at me. he then hung up on me. I proceeded to call corporate and left a message. Corporate just called back right now at 12:55 and let me know that any purchases over $10 requires a general manager. if that is the case a general manager should be scheduled the entire time it is open because incidents happen at all hours of the night especially if an establishment is open 24 hours!!! I now have to take time off of work to get back my $12.14 because their policy does not allow for refunds other than a general manager. i am not a usual at del taco eater and after this incident i will never be returning. i am not accusing anyone of putting human feces in my food but i refuse to pay for food that smells like human feces. What a good place to indulge on the best Mexican cooking around, they have the best crew in here, they have a great chef I can tell because everything that came out of the service door for us were astounding.
