We live in Ripon and go into Kmart often.. We spend a LOT of money there on a regular basis. We have had problems now and then but they were dealt w. in a helpful, win win way that encouraged us to keep shopping there.. TODAY was a HORRID shopping experience. After shopping and buying $30+ dollars.. While there my husband saw a couple of shirts he liked, and remembered he had a free lay away coupon at home from a previous shopping trip..He decided to go back home and get it and put the shirts on lay a way.. Which we did. We added a couple other things to cart and went to put on lay a way.. When doing that the girl told us that the shirts were NOT on sale for the sale price.. she said the sign prob. said "Not the spring merchandise" So we did NOT go thru w. the lay a way.. We did go back and check the sign.. It had NO such exclusion on it anywhere.. The Sign was large 5)% off. I went to check out and asked to speak to manager. We went shopping Saturday looking for winter boots. They did not have our sizes and Emma the employee went way above and beyond to help us order our shoes on line!!! She loves her job and is people pleasing!!! The check out that she was using crashed and we then had to go to another register and had to start all over again!! I sure wish the K-Mart in Ripon would have better checkouts as this equipment is so out dated and crashes way to much!! Thank goodness for employees like Emma that just keep smiling have all the patience in the world to keep us coming from Oshkosh to shop and enjoy our time there with the most dedicated employees around!!! We wish all of the K-Mart employees a Very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!!
