Parks, Recreation and Community Services is one of the departments that operates under the government of the city of Rio Rancho, N.M. The department provides cultural, athletic and entertainment services and programs for city residents. It operates a sports complex, library, soccer club, and aquatic, community and recreational centers. The department organizes several camps and volunteer programs, as well as maintains an art association. Parks, Recreation and Community Services offers various sports activities that include basketball, soccer, golf, volleyball, football, softball and baseball. The department maintains a senior citizens service division that provides administrative and planning services for people. It conducts dance, cooking, and art and craft classes.
