If I could award no starts at all, it would be reflective of my experience. I called in advance of my visit, as I wanted the doctor to be aware of scaring issues and discuss the optimal treatment BEFORE I arrived the next day. Laser was the preferred method for removal, according to an article authored by the doc who is the practice's Medical Director. I was assured by his nurse that all options including laser was available for my arrival, and was deterred from discussing directly with the doc. Upon arrival, he was pre-flighted into using cauterization, which was discussed in the aforementioned article as being prone to scaring. I asked, and the doc told me that he had great results with cauterizing and that he did not have a laser with the right functionality to use for this. What he essentially was saying was that while laser is the preferred method, he doesn't know how to use it, and since they lack the equipment, doesn't have the experience to use it so this is the recommendation.
