Established in 1988, Network 8, Inc. is a nonprofit organization in Jackson, Miss., which provides services to kidney patients and their providers under federal contract with the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS). The organization s core activities include quality improvement, technical assistance, education, information management and resolution of patient and facility complaints and concerns. It is the End Stage Renal Disease (ESRD) organization that serves the states of Alabama, Mississippi and Tennessee. Patient services include patient educational resources, complaint and grievance process, treatment of chronic kidney disease (CKD).
