Do yourself a favor and STAY AWAY!!! When I first saw these units I fell in love with what I thought was a quaint community, and the floor plan. After waiting over 5 months to move into my unit because they were "waiting for their c.o." I finally moved in and immediately had issues. I should of known then that it would be a nightmare from start to finish. First, we had no blinds installed in the new unit for 3 weeks, and no hot water for the first few days...which I chalked up to it being a new construction unit. There was a list of 30 items on a "punch list" which I was told would be completed within the first week I was moved in...it took 4 months! This list included holes to be spackled, areas to still be painted, and odds and ends around the unit. The most important was that the sprinkler system had leaked and the ceilings were a mess and again it took months for them to fix it. We had 2 different leaks in our kitchen ceiling which caused them to rip the entire ceiling out and for our kitchen to be unusable for weeks at a time. The master bathroom had 2 leaks. During the winter we had our master bathroom pipes freeze and our bathroom walls had to be opened and then repaired. Which again took weeks to repair. Here we are a year later and the walls are still unfinished. The handy man explained that all of the willow units in our building and a few others also had their pipes freeze. The entire summer I had issues with the central ac not working, they blamed the company that installed it. It was not the company, I personally spoke with the hvac company on numerous occasions. The fireplace was a feature that I was most looking forward to, let's start by explaining that it exploded during a "repair" by the owners brother. It was inoperable for months and then finally repaired after I threatened to hire an outside company and bill them. It still has to constantly be reset and never stays on for more then 30-40 minutes at a time. Upon move in they sell you this song and dance about it being a "luxury" community, it isn't. It has all stock fixtures and cheap cabinetry. Cars line the streets at night and there is nowhere for anyone to park because it was more important to have tons of pointless grassy areas instead of parking. At move in (August) I was told the clubhouse and pool would be finished that fall, a year and a half later the clubhouse is only in construction and we were just told that the pool is no longer being built...no explanation or remorse that they promised their residents something that wasn't delivered. This place is a nightmare, they charge you top dollar on rent and give nothing but a headache.
thank god we have a nice friendly supper on the grounds!!
