General Info

Priya Raju, M.D. joined Virginia Womenâ??s Center as an Obstetrician-Gynecologist in 2018 and practices at our Short Pump location. As a daughter of a cardiologist, Dr. Rajuâ??s interest in medicine started early. She grew up thinking she wanted to be a pediatrician, but early in her OB/GYN rotation, she realized her passion was caring for women. Dr. Rajuâ??s approach to patient care is conversationalâ??listening, more than talking. In todayâ??s busy world, she understands there is so much going on at home and work that can impact a womanâ??s health so Dr. Raju wants to make sure she fully understands all of the demands on her patients. Additionally, Dr. Raju wants her patients to have a voice in their care plans.
