Reviews
This is the worst Panera Bread ever. The manager and the staff need to learn customer service skills. I have never walked out of a restaurant due to staff mocking and laughing at a customer before now. I won't be back. Customers can forgive sub-par food and even boring service, but they won't forget how you made them feel (whether it is good or bad). Management making poor excuses for their staff and their conduct show leadership also needs more training or is in the wrong business.

This is the best Panera Bread in the whole country
I had an even worse experience at their new location in Richmond, VA at the Willow Lane area. The selection of breads where white or wheat only because they didn't not have all their selections for some unknown reason. We went to the location when it first opened up I believe in 2007. The food items we ordered where not cooked properly and smelled very bad. Our bread was over cooked and so hard that my husband had to use a very large and sharp kitchen knife to attempt to slice it. The food was the most awful we ever tasted. We throw it out and couldn't get the nasty taste away from our sense of smell and taste buds. Very poor service and poor quality. We will not go to another one again, no matter where it is located. Most of the employees at the Williow Lane and Colonial Heights location are very rude and incompetent even before our order is ready. Don't dare question them about why they do not have more than white and wheat that day or they will get an attitude with you.
