KST: KST stands for Koren Specific Technique, developed by Dr. Ted Koren, a chiropractor in Montgomery County, PA. Dr. Koren developed KST to assist himself in the relief of chronic lower back pain when traditional chiropractic techniques provided him no relief. Dr. Koren knew there had to be a different way of adjusting the body. With his belief in the "innate intelligence" of the body to heal itself, he began to challenge his body to determine what subluxations needed to be adjusted. At that time, he discovered the O.D. (occipital drop). He began to challenge, correct, and check the subluxations in his body. The results were astounding. Dr. Koren has dedicated his life to spreading the word of KST. In addition to his private practice, Dr. Koren conducts seminars in the United States and abroad in the art of the KST technique. Thousands of patients have been helped with KST when traditional chiropractic techniques were unable to provide them relief. Dr Ledet and KST In 2009, I took my first KST seminar and was excited to experience the personal results I received by getting adjusted with KST. When I returned Monday morning I immediately began utilizing KST. I realized I was able to better analyze what each patient's body needed and adjusted accordingly. The results have been amazing. Three years later I continue to use KST and have been able to adjust areas I was unable to adjust with traditional chiropractic, such as cranial bones, discs, sternum, zyphoid, larynx, and hyoid bone to just name a few. The KST adjustment is conducted by using an adjusting instrument called an ArthroStim. The adjustment is very gentle and can be used on newborns to the elderly. If you have stayed away from chiropractors because you do not like the high force adjustments or the "cracking" sound, or you have not gotten the relief you were expecting, then contact me, Dr. Ledet, today to experience the KST adjustment and see if this adjusting technique is for you.
