Established in 1969 and located in Richmond, Va., Henrico Area Mental Health & Retardation Services is an agency that offers a variety of programs for individuals and families. It provides an early intervention program for infants and children with developmental disabilities. The agency also offers educational and family support services. It additionally provides speech, physical and occupational therapy services. The agency offers case management, psychosocial rehabilitation, therapeutic treatment and residential care services. It provides individual and family therapy services, as well as substance abuse and outreach programs for adolescents. The agency also provides in-home services for children between the ages of 3 and 12. It offers day care, vocational, substance abuse prevention, rental assistance, detoxification and residential treatment services.
