Charles A. Gavin, originally from Franklin, VA, is a graduate of Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University and the University of Richmond School of Law. He was admitted to the Virginia Bar in 1990 and is a principal serving as president of Deskevich, & Gavin & Harris P.C. Mr. Gavin maintains a general practice, but also has extensive litigation experience in the civil and criminal areas of practice. Mr. Gavin has tried, arbitrated or resolved numerous complicated negligence cases throughout Virginia including assisted living and nursing home negligence, motor vehicle negligence, while at the same time representing clients charged criminally from reckless driving to capital murder. Mr. Gavin also handle business disputes including dissolution. Mr. Gavin has recently extended his real estate practice into land use and renewable energy.
