He is a Board Certified orthopedic surgeon who specializes in the surgical and non-surgical management of musculoskeletal conditions and injuries. He is ready to help you get back into the game. HAND & UPPER EXTREMITY Extending a helping hand is what Dr. Thompson's practice is all about. He specializes in hand and upper extremity procedures and focuses on treating disorders and injuries of the hand, wrist, forearm, and elbow. KNEE ARTHROSCOPY Experience is key with this procedure. Knee arthroscopy has been our specialty for over 31 years. Arthroscopy is a surgical procedure in which an arthroscope is inserted into a joint. The benefits of arthroscopy involve smaller incisions, faster healing, a more rapid recovery, and less scarring. Arthroscopic surgical procedures are oftem performed on an outpatient basis and the patient is able to return home on the same day.
