Don is a native Texan, educated at Woodrow Wilson High School in Dallas, the University of North Texas in Denton, and the Univeristy of Houston Law School. He has been practicing law for 35 years in Texas, and the last 25 years in Fort Bend County, as both First Assistant District Attorney and a criminal defense attorney. Having practiced law on both sides of the justice system gives Don a unique and qualified position to handle cases as a defense lawyer. Don has been involved in many high profile cases, including major drug and murder cases. He has also been highly successful representing public officials accused of wrongdoing.
